The route starts in front of The Royal Hotel at 12 noon and heads around the Ardlamont coast road in an anticlockwise direction, part of Argylls Secret Coast.
The first 5 miles are hilly and challenging, flattening out for the last 4 miles as you run north looking towards the village of Tighnabruaich nestled below the mountains.
