Run

The Kyles 10 Miles Run is a favourite on the running race calendar.

It offers something for all runners, from running veterans to racing novices. Rise to the challenge of a route that combines inclines, descents and long flat straights all amid spectacular Scottish scenery. Chip timing is provided by StuWeb and race commentary is provided by Woosh.

Registration

Registration takes place at the Kames Hall between 10am-11.40am where there are toilets and changing facilities. Once again we’re delighted that there will be a Producers’ Market held in the hall, with lots of local produce, crafts and home baking to tempt you.

On-line registration is £20 for runners (£18 UKA/SAF affiliated). Runners must be 17 years or older on race day. UKA or SAF number is required for all affiliated entries and must be entered in the appropriate box on the entry form, if it is not you will be asked to pay the additional £2 at registration.

We regret that refunds can not be given to anyone who withdraws before or during the race.

Race numbers are limited to 400 runners. We sell out very year, so don’t forget to register online as soon as possible. You can make multiple entries to the race. Make sure you click save my details at the bottom of the entry form and follow the ‘add another’ link from the checkout page.

Run start time

The run starts on the main road in front of The Royal An Lochan Hotel (a ten-minute walk from registration) at midday. It finishes in front of the Kames Hotel where runners receive their medals and goodie bags. There’s also a BBQ.
